What a crazy, tiring and exciting weekend..

So the above picture shows my favorite part of the living room which relates to the very busy weekend I had. So after 11 days working straight!! Im wore out only to have a weekend that required me to work even more but it is ok because I am super excited. Who knew that a little paint could make home feel completly different. Yep after 10 hrs of painting...because my husband and I are perfectionist, this is the lovely turn out of the living room (note: this is a picture off my cell phone)

Update on lil Miss Alana: We had her four month checkup today. She has gained up to 13 pounds and is now 25 1/2 long. She is gonna be tall!! She loves her brother which is the 1st picture you see...so precious!!!

Update on My Lil Man: He is not so lil anymore. He got promoted into 2nd grade and brought home all A's for us, he is so darn smart. I have no clue who he gets that from...LOL...JK!!

Well so sorry I haven't been on lately but just wanted to throw some updates out there.

Much love,
The Mitchells

What a blessing...

So yea, I have been in such a good mood these past couple of days even with the fact that I am working everyday. But, I came home, my husband had the living room re-arranged, Lil Joshs room re-arranged and we went to Lowes to pick out paint. How exciting. I recieved a bonus check from work and we got ourselves a brand new 40" LCD T.V. We were like big kids all over again. We always..always do for Lil Josh and now lil miss Alana has graced us with her presence it is all about both of them. I have clothes that I have wore for two years and have not bought myself anything since.
The main reason for me writing is to just give PRAISE to GOD for everything. I have two beauiful healthy children, an amzing Husband, a GREAT home and a car that runs and no matter if I am just down to $50 a week I still have my bills paid, gas in my car and my childs school lunch taken care of.

So all Praise and Thanks due to the almighty God above. I love you!!!!

Happiness in this small town

So I am new to this but let me introduce you to the family. I am Rebecca Mitchell and the husband is Joshua Mitchell. We have to beautiful kids. Lil Josh and Lil Miss Alana that is only 3 1/2 mths old. They are both such a blessing. Who said you could not ever build happiness in a small town? I have had my share of rough and very tough relationships and It wasn't until I gave up that the good Lord above sent my husband my way. We laugh and we cry together. He is my love, my life and my soul mate. Sometimes I do not feel like I tell him enough how special he is to me. I have been living in the location I am at all my life. My grandmother helped raise me so you know, I thought why not build my house right beside her.

My mom is amazing and has always been here for me. She is very sick right now and I pray to God every night to keep her safe. My dad, he is the BEST, got an amazing step mom and could not live without either one of them.

My son Joshua is 7 yrs old. He is a handsome lil thing. Got girls all over him...rely he does. He attend FSCS and is so smart. Brought home all A's and 1 B...Math,yea, was never my favorite either. Alana is 3 1/2 mths old and I find it hard to believe that she is holding her bottle, rolling over and oh my...growing so fast. After nine mths of carrying her that felt like forever, I cant believe she has came this far.

Well, Like I said, you who knew you find happiness in this small town. Alot of people think you have to be in large towns with fancy things to be happy but I tell you, sometimes if you stay where you are and dont go looking for happiness it will walk right up to you.

My Savior

Praise to him
